How Leasing Works
If you need an aircraft not found on our list of available aircraft, please contact us and tell us what you need. We will work hard to fill your need either via our current fleet, or by seeking and acquiring appropriate aircraft.
Working with American Aircraft Leasing allows you exclusive use of the aircraft for long term use.
Maintenance on leased aircraft is to be performed by the lessee. However, from time to time, an American Aircraft Leasing affiliate may inspect the aircraft.
A minimum required time is expected each month on the aircraft to maintain the lease. This is generally 40 hours. The Lessee is expected to pay American Aircraft Leasing on or by the 5th of each month, the minimum time plus any additional time over the minimums the aircraft was flown.
The Lessee will hangar the aircraft while it is in their possession unless prior arrangements are contractually agreed upon.
The Lessee is responsible for insuring the airplane for the agreed upon hull value and making sure that American Aircraft Leasing and the owner is named as additional insured. Full hull coverage and liability insurance is required on a lease. We highly recommend getting insurance from Aviation Marine, https://www.aviation-marine.com/, as they are American Aircraft Leasing’s insurance provider. In the event of an accident, it is easiest to work with the same insurance company. Aviation Marine also offers renters insurance for those companies that require renters insure of its customers.
Each Lease is custom tailored to the individual or group leasing the aircraft. If you would like to review our lease, simply contact us about leasing an airplane. We will be happy to go over a typical lease with you and the details of our lease.
The Lessee is required to provide the aircraft time sheet showing hours, each month to American Aircraft Leasing, along with the appropriate payment for the usage of the aircraft each month.
Our group of companies began have been in aviation since the 1970s, starting with Aspen Flying Club at Centennial airport in the Denver Colorado Market.
